SouLstorm Call :: Legacy Design with Earth + Sky

Just over a year ago my friend Elizabeth, Mystic Vixen + founder of Squam Art Workshops invited me to create a little Re*Entry Kit for Squammies so we could really keep and sustain the lakeside magic and creative juju we gathered on retreat.  As I glanced over the teachers, many already good friends, I came across Pixie Campbell's face and stopped in my tracks.  Wait. What?  Didn't I already know her?

You know when you see someone, and you know you don't know them, but you know - you KNOW that not only do you recognize them, but you already know them so well you could pretty much play out a whole dinner conversation in your mind?  That's how it was with Pixie and I from Day 1.  A reunion. 

Not that our dinner conversations are predictable.  The nature of her magik is that she's always growing my edges.  And not in a transformational-Northern-California-Goddess-Circle kinda way.  (We love those, though) Like a *poof* you just walked into a mossy cathedral forest kinda way.  She enchants an inner warrior that's most comfortable in the uncertain woods,  that's willing to walk the unstable ground with ownership + clarity.  She calls in our guides so we become unreasonable in ways that allow for innate greatness to show fully.  All of it's grounded in real work she's done in a fierce circle of elder women.  With so many countless mystical journeys she's taken for her own solace, guidance and purification, I've discovered her trust and reverence lets us develop a deep respect for our own visions while nurturing all kinds of little surprises we don't yet know are growing.

As a beloved retreat teacher, painter & medicine maker, Pixie was ready for something new.  Ready to stop making things for the sake of manufacturing, to show us how to make our own medicine.  Ready to live every moment with the same grounding, clarity and integrity she experienced in ten years of sacred circling.  Ready to bring her husband Brandon home so they could both fully participate in their children's days.  Pixie asked me to create something different.  For her. 

And so her SouLodge & my Moon Storm Sessions birthed each other, exactly one year ago. Moon Storm began just for Pixie, but both have blown up into communities of luminescent, creative wise sisters that are so much bigger than us.  Initially I wasn't sure I could hold space for so many female visionaries as intimately as I really felt was needed.  It takes so much to really build out our Heart Work so that it can fully fall into the hands of everyone who's supposed to receive it.  Skills, resources, time and support from our beloveds and communities.  It requires resetting our nervous-systems to really thrive as wild women.

And yet I agreed, because I had sat with Pixie at Squam & had my mind blown.  Let me say this ~ I come from several generations of intuitives.  I was brought to channelers in my diapers, and am fortunate to have decades of exposure to great global elders and mentors.  And - truly - I had never seen so much deep transformation happen so quickly as it did in that tiny lakeside cabin.  You can see me rant about it to SouLodge-Squammies here.  Over the last year she's beautifully guided me through a blessed, full-scale life-tilt.

After a decade of bolstering very aggressive upper executives past their 6-figure jails into real expressions, gathering world-renowned activists, athletes and philanthropists to share resources while homebirthing, homeschooling, and homemaking for this family of five, I was a happy bit of a mess.  And, as you might imagine, it became unsustainable.  I'm now able to really include myself in my work.

So many of you have been here with me for years, whether I was here, off nursing, building or taking months off traveling with the crew. You've taught me what it can look like to make a digital community a flesh-and-blood Ohana.
